London 2014 Day 6 Part 1 – Trooping the Colour

We arrived at Green Park Station only about half an hour before the parade on the Mall started and though there were lots of spectators already and more arriving we found a good place from where we could watch and take photos.

We met this friendly lady from Blackpool. She had come to London with her family and her son-in-law took the photo of us with Hermann's camera.

Of course you know who the people in this carriage are:

The moment we all waited for :)

These three riders are Prince Charles, Prince William and Princess Anne:

London 2014 Day 5 – Various Places

We started this day at the Tower, crossed Tower Bridge and walked along the Thames to London Bridge Station.

In Hay’s Galleria we discovered a Christmas Shop. Of course we had to enter and found an Advent calendar with a London picture :)

We took lunch at Café Eterno again.

As some of the proceeds of the café go to the Webber Street Homeless Day Centre we had the idea to have a look at that, so we travelled to Waterloo Station next. Near the station was this very friendly Big Issue vendor and I bought a magazine from him.

Webber Street Centre is in an old building, but with website, Facebook and Twitter urls displayed on large plaques outside :)

Afterwards we went to the parks near Buckingham Palace to take a rest and watch people and animals ;)

This little girl was fascinated with my dress :)
