Our London Trip 2013 Day 7 – William Morris Gallery and Some Centres of Tourism

In the morning we met with Laura Porter and her 7 year old daughter at the William Morris Gallery in Walthamstow. While Laura showed me around the girl showed Hermann all there was to do for children. The two were so busy trying the various games and teaching each other their respective languages that Hermann didn't have time to take as many photos as usual ;)

Later we sat in the gallery’s tearoom for a little chat before we had to separate again.

In the afternoon we went to Abbey Road crossing. There we phoned Hermann’s editor in the office, so that she and the secretary were able to watch us via the live camera :)

Our next destination was Westminster Bridge. I don’t remember why we went there, but here we were in the centre (or one of the centres) of tourism in London. It was even more crowded than most parts of London and difficult to walk along without the danger of losing sight of each other. So I just grabbed Hermann’s rucksack and let him lead the way. We crossed the bridge and went along the Thames towards the Royal Festival Hall where we sat down for a cup of tea.

Afterwards we went to another tourist magnet, the St. Paul’s Cathedral where Hermann took his time to take lots of photos of which I only show some here:
