Later we sat in the gallery’s tearoom for a little chat before we had to separate again.
In the afternoon we went to Abbey Road crossing. There we phoned Hermann’s editor in the office, so that she and the secretary were able to watch us via the live camera :)
Our next destination was Westminster Bridge. I don’t remember why we went there, but here we were in the centre (or one of the centres) of tourism in London. It was even more crowded than most parts of London and difficult to walk along without the danger of losing sight of each other. So I just grabbed Hermann’s rucksack and let him lead the way. We crossed the bridge and went along the Thames towards the Royal Festival Hall where we sat down for a cup of tea.
Afterwards we went to another tourist magnet, the St. Paul’s Cathedral where Hermann took his time to take lots of photos of which I only show some here:
